Join the Cold-blooded and Spineless project for a one-day workshop to learn how the various hunting strategies of spiders affects their morphology and ecology and how this can be used to identify them. This course will be led by Fran Garcia. Participants will spend the morning indoors, investigating the various adaptations, before a trip to Bollihope Burn Special Invertebrate Site, where we will set about finding live examples. The course is suitable for beginners, as well as more experienced naturalists who wish to develop their knowledge of these under-appreciated invertebrates.
