The Harehope Quarry Project, Frosterley Village Hall and Stanhope Community Hub have been funded through Durham County Council’s Holiday Activities with Healthy Food fund to provide food and enriching activities during the summer school holiday. The packed lunch will be provided by Horlsey Hall and the activities by the Harehope Quarry Project and Alison Curry of Dispel-Art.
The ‘Summer in the Making’ project will provide children from Weardale with a Free packed lunch and hands-on activities to do at home each week during the summer holidays. These will be delivered to village halls throughout Weardale for collection between 11.30am and 12 noon on Mondays – 27.07.20, 03.08.20, 10.08.20, 17.08.20, 24.08.20 and 31.08.20.
