Work with the Wiggly Path Company and discover the art of weaving and whittling to create beautiful, handcrafted pieces using natural materials in our immersive workshops. These are the first 2 workshops in a series of 6 in both whittling and weaving.
Whittling Workshops – 5 and 12 September 2024, 10.30am – 12.30pm
On these first 2 workshops you will whittle and make a Sloyd Butter Knife, with Colin Wilson’s expert supervision.
Weaving workshops – 26 September and 3 October 2024, 10.30am – 12.30pm
On the weaving workshops you will make your own bespoke loom and create woven pieces to take home, with Sarah Wilson’s expert tuition. The weaving will develop from basic structures to more complex ones with textures and tassels and then geometric shapes.
